The contents of Sidney Glanville's year long involvement with Harry Price's tenancy of Borley Rectory is presented in this section of the website. The 'Locked Book' comprises correspondence, mainly between Glanville & Harry Price, together with photographs, reports of observation periods, tracings of the wall writings and transcriptions of the table-tipping and planchette séances carried out at the Rectory and at Sidney Glanville's home in Streatham, South London. Correspondence between Glanville and the Smiths who were resident at the Rectory in 1929 and with Lionel Foyster who with his wife Marianne occupied the living between 1930 and 1935 is also included. The scans of Glanville's report here are as far as I am aware from the typescript prepared by Sidney Glanville and which was presented to Harry Price, a micro-filmed copy of which is held at the University of London Library.
